Sources & Rights

How ME treats links and rights

  • Every song comes from a research file verified on 2026-11-08. Each link keeps its source ID so you can check it.
  • Videos play through YouTube's own embedded player, from its privacy-enhanced domain — nothing is downloaded or re-hosted.
  • Search links are labelled as searches. They open YouTube results; they are never presented as a specific video.
  • Sheet-music pages are listed, not hosted. A listing is not a claim that a score is free, licensed or complete.
  • Public-domain status depends on the specific edition and the country you're in.
  • Anyone can report a broken link or a rights concern from a song or performance page; Menna reviews every report.

This page explains how the app works. It is not legal advice.
